Permissions

The Permissions tab is accessible via Choose Action > Settings > Permissions on any resource detail page. It manages who can access and modify the resource. CodeNOW uses role-based access control (RBAC) at the resource level — each resource can have its own permission assignments independent of the global roles.

Managing Permissions​

  • Click + Create New Permission to grant access to a user or team
  • Each entry shows the user or team name, their assigned roles, the source of the permission (e.g. ADMIN), and available actions
  • Permissions can be granted to individual users or to entire teams — when granted to a team, all team members inherit the roles
  • Use the expand arrow to see individual team members

The resource creator is automatically assigned as Admin. Platform administrators also have implicit access to all resources.
