Custom Template Dry Run

Triggered when a dry run is started for a custom component template. The job spins up a temporary preview environment to validate the template before it is published for general use.

The detail section shows the Custom Template being tested and the individual provisioning steps:

  • Template preview published — the template preview version was created
  • Application created — a temporary application was created for the dry run
  • Environment created — a temporary environment was provisioned
  • Component created — the component was instantiated from the template
  • Preview version of the component deployed — the component was deployed to the temporary environment
