How to create a new instance of the Apache Kafka streaming data platform.

Create an instance of Apache Kafka​

  1. Choose the Managed Services in the Application Development menu and select Get New Service.
  2. Find Apache Kafka in the list of services. Select Apache Kafka to add a new Apache Kafka instance.
  3. Type in the new instance's service name, select the cluster and environment you want to target.
  4. Choose the basic configuration and confirm it.
  5. Wait for request processing and see the details of the new Apache Kafka instance.
    • Use the admin panel link for monitoring Apache Kafka.
